Ms. Emma is a pianist, teacher, and musicologist whose musical journey began with her first lesson at 7 years. As her love for music grew, she pursued and gained a degree in Piano Performance from SMU with an emphasis in piano pedogogy (a real plus for teaching). She is now accomplishing her Master's in Musicology at NU, but her love for piano and unlocking a student's potential is strong!

Finn is a guitarist/songwriter whose influences are folk, jazz, indie, and classical music. They have a BA in jazz guitar and composition from Loyola University. With Finn, you will learn about chords, scales, theory, and how to play! They also can help you compose your own music, if you wish. This is a gentle, thoughtful teacher who will patiently help you achieve your musical goals.

Han L is a pianist, composer, producer and electronics performer. He
has won numerous competitions and performed chamber and solo
recitals across the United States and Europe. He has Master’s degrees
in both classical and contemporary piano performance from the
Manhattan School of Music. He is a creative and inspiring teacher.

Michael H
Mike H graduated from Columbia College Chicago with a Bachelor of Arts in Music, with a focus on Instrumental Performance Keyboard. Michael has a great ability to relate to young children. Working with students aged three to adult, he enjoys seeing new students improve over an extended period of time. Mike is trained in the traditional and Suzuki pedagogies, but supplements these with note-reading and theory. He is a spontaneous and creative teacher.

Bridget P
Bridget received a BA in music from University of Notre Dame, and has earned a Master of Science in Education and Social Policy from Northwestern University. She also acquired additional training including the Orff-Schulwerk Approach, the Kodály Concept, the Dalcroze Method, and the Ward Method. Bridget also serves as a substitute organist and pianist at various churches in the Chicagoland area.
