Catherine Larson is a warm, skilled, and versatile voice teacher based in Chicago. She holds a Master’s degree in Vocal Performance from North Park University and a Bachelor’s in Music from Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College. Catherine has experience performing in opera, concerts, and choral settings, and is a member of respected ensembles, including Music of the Baroque and the Grant Park Chorus. As a teacher, Catherine brings both professional experience and a caring, encouraging approach to her students. She is passionate about helping singers of all levels develop healthy technique, musical confidence, and expressive performance skills, as well. She also teaches piano, which is an important foundational instrument for all musicians.

Bridget received a BA in music from University of Notre Dame, and has earned a Master of Science in Education and Social Policy from Northwestern University. She also acquired additional training including the Orff-Schulwerk Approach, the Kodály Concept, the Dalcroze Method, and the Ward Method. Bridget also serves as a substitute organist and pianist at various churches in the Chicagoland area.

She is an active composer who has written for orchestra, chamber ensemble, choir and also electro-acoustic music. Catherine has her Master’s degree in Composition from the Manhattan School of Music, and is presently pursuing a Ph.D. in Music Composition and Technology at Northwestern University.

Finn is a guitarist/songwriter whose influences are folk, jazz, indie, and classical music. They have a BA in jazz guitar and composition from Loyola University. With Finn, you will learn about chords, scales, theory, and how to play! They also can help you compose your own music, if you wish. This is a gentle, thoughtful teacher who will patiently help you achieve your musical goals.

Rick C has a BA in Music Composition from University of Wisconsin. He has written music in numerous styles including orchestral, jazz and jam-based rock. He's had songs played on WXRT, performed at the Park West and the Vic, and has worked with other bands such as Dark Star Orchestra. If students need to "divide and conquer" their music, he can show them how. Theory (classical and jazz) and classical piano technique are his specialties.
